Another Ann Arbor Grocery that should be here

I know a lot of you already shop at Whole Foods and Trader Joes but come mid-February there will be a new store in town. It’s named Plum Market and it’s about to enter the high-end grocery segment. This will be their 2nd store, their 1st is in Bloomfield Township. The will be taking over the Foxtown theater spot at Maple Village on Maple road in Ann Arbor (The Dollar Theater across from Vets Park). With this addition Maple Village will become the premier shopping center for ‘trust fund hippies’ since they already have a Value World. All I can say is beware of old Volvos with a lot of bumper stickers.

I just thought you’d like to know but remember keep it local when you can at Von’s Supermarket on Holmes Road, Dos Hermanos on Michigan Ave, The Ypsilanti Food Co-op, and the farmers markets.
