Good to see the neighbors.

This past Saturday there was an unofficial PPNA gathering at the Masonic Temple in Detroit. We weren’t discussing community issues we were all there to watch Roller Derby. There were 5 PPNA households represented in our caravan to Detroit and it would be nice if any others would like to join us for the bout on March 29th.

The Detroit Derby Girls seem to have a good presence in Ypsilanti with one of their official program photos taken at our very own Chick In. Email me if you are interested in joining your neighbors at this event or any other similar event we attend.

Lets get some more press for Ypsilanti

Hello Folks,

I know I’ve been asking a lot of you guys lately but here is another thing.

Fox is going to host a shows combining two of America’s favorite things — Washed up Rock Stars and Curling. The show is called ‘Rock Star Curling.’ They are going to have tryouts at some point in the future and wouldn’t it be great if we got them to host the tryouts somewhere around Ypsilanti? Or, if we just flooded the tryout with folks from Ypsilanti? The best parts about the tryouts is that you don’t need to know how to Curl, its a reality show to try to train someone for the 2010 Olympic tryouts.

What I’m asking you to do is visit http://www.rockstarcurling.com/ and register to tryout even if you don’t intend to tryout. Let’s get those producers thinking about Ypsilanti.
